Before this season Town & Country reported about the difficulty real-estates representatives were having selling listings in Trump Tower, the amount of that escalated since President Trump’s election. Now sales statistics reveal that the components which have sold did so at below-market rates.
There are now 21 flats for sale or lease in the construction, based on StreetEasy, and just five condos have sold because Trump took office. The five trades reveal that the”average cost per square foot in Trump Tower of roughly $2,100 was down 13 percent from 2016 and 23% from 2015, based on sales data accumulated by property site CityRealty.com” and initial mentioned by the Wall Street Journal.

Brown Harris Stevens agent Wendy Maitland advised that the New York Post, “A Trump construction has ever been a turn-off for a number of individuals and also a turn-on for many others. She also fellow BHS agent Jason Karadus formerly recorded a high-value apartment on the 39th floor for about $ 7.5 million. (The home is currently off the market.)
Henckels points out, “Saying the Secret Service is a favorable is a sword that is pleated. There’s not any doubt that safety is significantly improved, however, it was not an issue ahead of the Secret Service. The reverse side is that — my guess is the Secret Service and consequent disruptions from the other tenants’ quality of life will be the reason why there are several new listings”
Additionally, Henckels states, though Trump Tower”is a really lavish, beautiful building in a prime location and is superbly run,” it is competing with”new improvements with a lot of amenities” and”the present tendency for a downtown location”
