Harvey Weinstein was in the practice of selling two of the houses on the East Coast before several news outlets reported on allegations of sexual harassment from the Hollywood manufacturer.
Pictures of this mid-century contemporary estate were printed on Trulia, a residential property site. Records reveal the manufacturer first bought the home in 1995.
Weinstein also had an East Hamptons house in the market until lately. Weinstein purchased the 9,000-square-foot house in 2014 for $11.4 million, and he possessed the house along with his wife, Georgina Chapman.
“Regrettably with our hectic schedules we simply don’t have enough time to visit Amagansett as far as we would like,” Weinstein and Chapman stated in an email to The Wall Street Journal.
The estate is situated across nearly 2 acres on Gardiner’s Bay and includes a master suite with a private balcony, four additional family bedroomsplus a two-bedroom guest or personnel wing using a three-car garageplus a screening room, fitness center and rooftop deck, according to The Journal.
